Not bashing for the sake of it - but really think we need a new keeper.
Whilst I love his enthusiasm for the club, I find him so suspect. Decent enough shot stopper - but I think longer term we need a safer pair of hands.
He seems to do these over exuberant dives that get absolutely no where near the ball

Alex McCARTHY who was at Reading and now (I discovered yesterday) at QPR might be one to keep an eye on.
Wasn't given much chance with even Liverpool's second being deflected in by Caulker

Phil Parkes was talking about him yesterday and he seems to rate him.... said that 'cos he was reserve keeper at Real Betis for years and didn't play many competitive games he is now making the mistakes that you would expect a raw 19-20 year old to make. Parkes seemed to reckon that he has natural talent and will come good the more match experience he has.

People have short memories.
Who remembers how some on here slagged off Rob Green for failing to come off his line for corners.
Jussi was always getting slagged off for his poor kicking.
Now Adrian is getting abused for a number of things he fails to do. It's all silly and it's all bollox.
Adrian is a good keeper who will improve with age, he is only 28 and that is exceptionally young for a keeper.
Now, fucking support him, he is doing a good job and, like all players, he is only human.

I don't really rate him. I think West Ham should have an international standard keeper.
Whatever happened to Butland, he was exceptional for his age and about a decade younger.

He will cost us points this year.
As will the defenders/midfielders/strikers - but unfortunately for him, he is the last line of defence and mistakes are highlighted more as a keeper.
Don't get me wrong, I would love him to come good - but looking at the team right now - I would say that's a weak area.

Can only hope he gets better. I think he's average at present - has some good games and some poor ones.
It's clear he has some talent but it's communication with his defense which seems to me to be an issue.

He fumbled it Saturday, not for the first time. Poor keeper, made quite a few cock ups this season already.
